Third Session

Telecommunications have become a huge part of our lives. The idea of electricity or telecom capabilities being wiped out has become more dire an outcome as the financial sector crashing - of course, it would include the crashing of our financial systems, since most money and data are sent in little ones and zeros over telecommunication lines.

These advances in technology make our lives more complex and give us more opportunities than ever before.

Part of the reason I'm interested in cyber protection is the potential for huge problems if that even part of the network was ever to fail. The good news about the telecom industry's variety of data transportation networks and communication standards is that a full outage would be nearly impossible.
